vernacular type

this is a bit of experimentation with typography. this typeface was designed from this sign i came across in covent garden. i traced and then rubbed out the ink to give this worn away feel to the letters. i think it gives a nice effect and to me stands for London because it shows the history in london but also tried to get across the changing of London. i think that the etters could get the latter across a bit more but im happy with it so far.
